The story of The Rooted Potter is one of unwavering trust in the Lord, and the unexpected paths He sometimes leads us down to fulfill His divine purpose. After more than a decade of experiencing some of life’s most difficult challenges, my husband and I found ourselves exactly where we’re supposed to be, Honey Pot Farms. Life on the farm sparked my love for the outdoors and I became increasingly interested in learning pottery and bee keeping, so I did just that. Bee keeping came with its challenges and my early pottery was far from perfect, but it was perfect to me because I was honoring God’s glory. In just four years, I went from never touching a block of clay to having my own pottery studio. 
One sleepless night brought upon the name The Rooted Potter as I sat carving the Tree of Life into a piece of clay. I began praying to the Lord, asking that He would let my roots grow deep. He responded, speaking mightily to my spirit, “Angie, they are”.
